Structural Reinforcement
Over time, tension points yield. We reconstruct compromised seams, replace severely worn panels with closely matched hides, and reinforce handles to bear weight securely once more.

Over time, tension points yield. We reconstruct compromised seams, replace severely worn panels with closely matched hides, and reinforce handles to bear weight securely once more.
Discuss a pieceA broken clasp shouldn't retire a bag. We source and set solid brass rivets, heavy-duty zippers, and traditional buckles to carefully replace failing hardware.
Proper maintenance prevents the need for extensive repair. Establish a simple routine to keep your items supple, resilient, and aging gracefully.
Remove surface dust regularly with a soft horsehair brush. For deeper soil, utilize a lightly damp cloth, taking care never to fully saturate the hide. Allow the piece to dry naturally in a well-ventilated space, far from direct heat sources.
When the leather begins to feel dry or stiff, massage a natural, beeswax-based conditioner into the surface using firm, circular motions. Let it absorb completely overnight, then buff away any excess to restore the natural protective luster.
Most standard repairs, such as restitching or hardware replacement, are completed within two to three weeks. More extensive restorations may require additional time.
While we specialize in maintaining our own handcrafted goods, we are open to assessing high-quality leather items from other makers to determine if our traditional methods can effectively restore them.
For items used daily, we recommend a light conditioning every three to six months. If the leather feels dry or stiff, it is time for a treatment.
Every repair begins with a thorough manual inspection. Visit our workbench directly, or reach out to discuss the restoration process for your bespoke items.
