These general terms govern the provision of handmade leather goods, bespoke tailoring, repair, and care services provided by Hide & Stitch. Please read them carefully before commissioning our workshop.

1. General Provisions

By engaging with Hide & Stitch, you agree to the conditions outlined herein. Our primary offerings include the crafting of handmade leather goods, custom bespoke tailoring, and comprehensive leather restoration.

All quotes provided for workshop services are valid for a period of thirty days. We reserve the right to refuse service if the requested materials or methods compromise our standards of traditional craftsmanship and durability.

2. Bespoke Tailoring & Custom Goods

Bespoke tailoring requires careful consultation, pattern-making, and specialized materials. Once an order is finalized and the initial deposit is paid, we immediately allocate raw materials and workshop time to your specific project.

  • Custom orders cannot be canceled or fully refunded once the leather cutting process has commenced.
  • Slight natural variations in leather grain, dye absorption, and texture are inherent to handmade goods and do not constitute a defect.
  • Fittings and adjustments must be scheduled promptly to ensure the final product meets your exact specifications.

3. Repairs & Maintenance Care

Our workshop offers extensive repair and care services to extend the lifespan of your leather items. Before any repair begins, a thorough physical assessment must take place.

While we utilize traditional techniques and high-quality materials to restore structural integrity, we cannot guarantee identical color matching for aged or heavily worn items. If an item is deemed structurally unsound due to severe neglect, we will advise on alternative care options but may decline the repair if success is improbable.
